Gloucester’s Todd banned for three weeks

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The 31-year-old injured Saracens' England scrum-half Kyran Bracken with the tackle, and has been suspended for 21 days, meaning he will be available to play again on March 19.

Todd's partnership in the centres with Terry Fanolua has been the bedrock of Gloucester's success this season, the combative pair helping the Kingsholm outfit to the top of the league, although bowing out of the Heineken Cup round in the group stages.

Saracens' Australian centre Tim Horan was also found guilty of an offence at the hearing from the same match, the former Queensland star charged with punching. There was however no penalty dished out to the veteran, despite the guilty verdict.
