Zurich computer predicting heavy Wales defeat

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Steve Hansen's side are expected to lose by 39 points to England and, having conceded an average of 46 points over the previous five meetings with England, it is perhaps not surprising that Wales are such outsiders.

Should Wales lose on Saturday, they can expect to slip to their lowest rankings position in over four years when the latest update of the Zurich World Rankings are released on Monday, February 24.

Meanwhile, Ireland can expect their good form to continue with a predicted 32-point win over Italy in Dublin although John Kirwan's Azzurri upset the both Wales and the computer last weekend so anything is possible.

On Sunday, France should bounce back from their defeat to England with an easy win over Scotland.

Zurich Predictions for 22/23 February:

Wales v England: England by 39 points.Italy v Ireland: Ireland by 32 points.France v Scotland: France by 29 points.
