Extreme dog walking!

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The boisterous hound has never attempted a half marathon before, but is busy building himself up to his physical peak.  At the Madejski he started his workout on the tread mill, before lifting some weights, trying out the exercise bike and finishing the session on a fit ball.

Digger is the first to admit that he has some work to do before attempting the half marathon on Sunday, 9 March, and comments: "I overdid it on the white pudding and Guinness at Christmas, but I am determined to get myself back into shape and run the half marathon in record dog time!"

The Jarrod Cunningham SALSA Fund will profit from Digger's marathon exertions.  Former London Irish player Jarrod Cunningham, was diagnosed with a strain of motor neurone disease last year.  Digger is keen to help raise money for the fund, and will also be involved with the London Irish All Stars vs. Barbarians match, and the Gala Dinner in the spring.  If you are interested in sponsoring Digger please email digger@london-irish.org
