Morris back for Northampton Saints

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The last time the 20-year-old started a game for Saints was against Ulster in the Heineken Cup on 17 January. He has not featured in the match-day 22 since then and played for Northampton Saints Under-21s against London Irish two weeks ago.

Morris will replace Matt Stewart, who has moved onto the bench.

Other changes in the squad include the return of former All Black loose forward Andrew Blowers at No.6, the move of Grant Seely from No.6 to No.8, Mark Connors from No.8 to the second row, and a straight swap between hookers Dan Richmond and Steve Thompson. Wales lock Steve Williams has not been included in the 22.

The backline remains the same as the line-up for last Sunday's defeat to London Wasps, despite knocks to star halfbacks Paul Grayson and Matt Dawson.

"The boys are disappointed with their performance at the weekend, not so much as a team, but as individuals. But we do not dwell on defeat, or victory, we have just got to get on with it," said Dawson on Wednesday.

"It is a hard time of the season. It really is tough and it does not get any easier, but we are strong set of boys with great coaching staff and it is time to put all the excuses to bed and put in a great performance."

Saturday's game will also mark a return to Franklin's Gardens for former Northampton Saints captain Wayne 'Buck' Shelford.

"It will be a big homecoming for Buck," commented Dawson.

"He was great servant to the club in more ways than just being a player. I am sure he will want to bring up a Saracens side that will put in a good performance like they did at Vicarage Road."
