Dallaglio and White pick up weekend knocks

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Dallaglio – whose side beat Northampton on Sunday – took a bang to the shoulder while breaking from the scrum, but said afterwards that while he will miss training for a few days, the injury is not serious, despite it being a slight dislocation.

Should Dallaglio's injury increase before the RBS Six Nations Championship opener on February 15 against France, then likely replacements at the base of the scrum could include flanker Richard Hill, Gloucester youngster James Forrester or even the discarded Martin Corry, who has been in fine form with his club Leicester of late.

Bristol front rower White is also sidelined after wrenching a knee in his side's home defeat against Leeds, with the big prop picking up the injury during the first half.

With Phil Vickery likely to be the first-choice tighthead in any case, should White be forced to leave the squad, then Northampton's Robbie Morris would be high on the list to replace him.
