Gloucester fear Saracens backlash

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

But Gloucester's cause will be boosted by the news that they have a fully-fit squad for the first time this year, with Junior Paramore, Marcel Garvey, Phil Vickery and Robert Todd all included in the 22-man squad.

"It will be a tougher game, I understand we have never won at Saracens. We have to preserve our away record, and we try to improve on that each time we go away," said Melville.

"This game could help us enormously in the Zurich Premiership. If we can get a good result and take some points from this game then it would set us up well for the Bath game and if we do well in that, then we will be in a good position going into the six nations".

Notable absentees however, are Henry Paul and Simon Amor, who are both on England Sevens duty this weekend in Brisbane.

Zurich Premiership Player of the Month Jake Boer is also expecting a Saracen's backlash after last weekend's eight-try Cup defeat.

"Saracens will be like a wounded dog and it's not going to be a walk in the park," said Boer.

"They are holding on for dear life in the Premiership and we're not expecting an easy game."
