French trio return for Saracens

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Califano returns to the starting line-up while his two compatriots have to make do with places on the bench. Also returning to the starting XV this week is Richard Hill, the England international who spent most of last week's Powergen Cup tie on the bench.

Hill is joined in the back row by Ryan Peacey who comes in for Tony Roques who is away on England Sevens duty – as are Richard Haughton and new cross-code signing Nathan McAvoy.

The only other change to team sees the return to the midfield of Kevin Sorrell who partners Tim Horan in the centres with Ben Johnston moving down to the bench.

"We'll be looking for parity up front to provide us with a good platform to test their backs," said coach Wayne Shelford.

"They're very abrasive and control the game well and we need to be more dominant and not kick away possession, we need to take the ball up more and play in their faces.

"We haven't changed the side too much with Christian (Califano), Richard (Hill) and Kevin (Sorrell) the only players to come in. Andy (Goode) has only just been declared fit and with him only managing one session this week he was not considered."

Saracens: 15 Adryan Winnan, 14 Tom Shanklin, 13 Kevin Sorrell, 12 Tim Horan, 11 Darragh O'Mahony, 10 Nicky Little, 9 Kyran Bracken (captain), 8 Kris Chesney , 7 Richard Hill, 6 Ryan Peacey, 5 Craig Yandell, 4 Stuart Hooper, 3 Christian Califano, 2 Robbie Russell, 1 Mike Storey.Replacements: 16 Johnny Marsters, 17 Matt Cairns, 18 Abdel Benazzi, 19 Ben Russell, 20 Dan Kirton, 21 Ben Johnston, 22 Thomas Castaignede.

Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
