Morrison to compere Bristol charity event

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Morrison, who retired last year after a distinguished career with the whistle, will referee a question and answer session between four England rugby stars from the south-west.

Shoguns Garath Archer, Julian White and Phil Christophers will outnumber Bath skipper Danny Grewcock 3-1 at the event, which is being organised to raise money for Jarrod Cunnginham, the ex-London Irish star recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

"We'll have plenty of craic – they're all good guys. I refereed Jarrod a few times and it's a pleasure to take part," said Morrison.

Entry to the event, at the Walkabout in Corn Street, Bristol, is priced at a £2 donation – with all proceeds going to Jarrod's Salsa Foundation.

England tickets and a signed shirt will also be raffled.

The venue can be contacted on 0117 930 0181.
