Bath too much for Robinson-less Sharks

10 Nov 2002
Bath too much for Robinson-less Sharks

Sharks, without the injured Charlie Hodgson, internationals Jason Robinson and Bryan Redpath, managed two tries on the day, with wing Steve Hanley and former Wallaby Graeme Bond going over, but a bonus point was all they could muster.

Bath, without England centre Mike Tindall, only scored one try from open play on the day, flying wing Tom Voyce touching down after 17 minutes, although they did also earn a penalty try midway through the second half.

It was yet again the boot of Olly Barkley which was to thank for most of their points, with the England cap slotting eleven points, via three penalties a conversion – a late drop-goal from Australian Chris Malone completing their scoring.
