MEDIA OPPORTUNITY – Wales series Singha Premiership 7s

Please see below for information on the media opportunity for the Wales series Singha Premiership 7s.

Date: Monday 11th July 2016
Time: 3.30pm
Venue: BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park

Format: Interview opportunities with all four regions 7s Coaches and Players plus Wales 7s core players ahead of the Welsh leg of the Singha Premiership 7s on July 22nd at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.  All four regions will be in action with two clubs going through from the Welsh leg to the final against English Premiership Clubs.

The following personnel will be available for pictures with the tournament trophy and interviews about the forthcoming competition and development of rugby 7s.

Ospreys: Dafydd Howells

Cardiff Blues – 7s player and coach tbc
Wales 7s players – Adam Thomas, Owen Jenkins, Ben Roach, Ethan Davies

Please report to Antonia Lamont (PRW) or Mike Brown (Cardiff Blues) at main reception at the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park. Parking is provided at the stadium.

Details: Singha Premiership 7s Series

It is an exciting time for rugby 7s with the sport about to make its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 1924. And the Singha 7s, the only 7s tournament that sees our four Welsh Regions compete against England's 12 Premiership Rugby clubs. It is the leading club 7s event in a summer packed with 7s action and current champions are the Newport Gwent Dragons.
