Mike Brewer has selected his team for tomorrow evening's Season Opener against Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership at Edgeley Park.
And what of James Gaskell, one of England's brightest prospects? Is Brewer in danger of heaping too much on young shoulders?
"I don't believe so," said Brewer, "James is the sort of player who can help take us from the start to the end of the project. He can rely on senior players and we can mould him."
Mike Brewer has targeted a top six finish in Aviva Premiership Rugby for the club and said, " The players we have here want to play in the Heineken Cup and know they will have to work hard to achieve that. A win tomorrow would give everyone a huge boost and galvanise the whole club."
