Leicester Tigers have launched a new away kit in readiness for the 2010/11 season.
The platinum-coloured kit, with white and black trim, is supplied by Cotton Traders and will be worn for the first time in the opening game of the new Aviva Premiership Rugby season at Northampton Saints on September 5.
A feature of the new jersey is the introduction of two stars above the Leicester Tigers badge to represent the club's Heineken Cup Final wins.

And the back of the shirt features nine stars across the shoulders in recognition of nine league titles, including the victory last season.

Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton said: "The new away colours combine a modern, stylish look with the stars representing an acknowledgement of the team's proud and successful heritage.

"Premiership Rugby regulations stipulate that clubs must have a light-coloured away strip and we believe the new version will become extremely popular with our supporters.

"The Supporters' Forum provided some very positive feedback during the development of the kit and, together with the new range of black training wear, we anticipate a lot of interest when the full range becomes available."

The platinum strip replaces the blue and white away colours which have been used during the past two seasons and were worn in the 2009 Guinness Premiership Final.

A full range of replica and playing-quality away shirts, as well as the platinum-coloured shorts and socks, will be available in the Tigers Club Shop soon and pre-orders will be taken.
