The Saints play Saracens and Sale Sharks in the round robin stage of Friday's tournament, and with the just the winner of the pool going through to contest the final Academy coach Mark Hopley - who along with Birmingham and Solihull boss Russell Earnshaw will be coaching the squad - says that the players will have to be on top form from the first whistle.
"We played well in defence and attack last Friday," Hopley said today, "but we'll have to step it up a few notches at the Rec tomorrow evening. With just one team going through to the final and two games to play, we know we have to win against both Saracens and Sale.
"But our boys have really engaged with Sevens this summer. They have generated a great team spirit in a short time and are determined to work for each other to try and win the tournament."
There are still tickets available for tomorrow's evening of entertainment, priced at just £5 for juniors and £10 for adults. Order them from Ticketmaster.co.uk or directly from Bath Rugby.
The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby Sevens Series is being broadcast live on ESPN with coverage starting at 6:30pm. And match updates will be posted immediately after the final whistle of each of the Saints' games on the club's Twitter feed - www.twitter.com/SaintsRugby
