Young to start against London Welsh

Bath Rugby have named their side to face London Welsh at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 14.30), with only four changes to the starting line-up from their previous Aviva Premiership outing.

Micky Young comes in at scrum-half, with the rest of the backs unchanged from Bath’s victory against Sale Sharks in Round 17. Young partners fly-half Ollie Devoto, with Kyle Eastmond and Sam Burgess in the midfield and Olly Woodburn and Semesa Rokoduguni on the wings. Tom Homer, who kicked all of Bath’s points against Sale, continues at fullback.

Loosehead Nick Auterac and hooker Rob Webber remain in the front row, while Kane Palma-Newport replaces the injured Henry Thomas at tighthead.

Captain Stuart Hooper and Dominic Day start their fifth consecutive match together in the second row. Meanwhile, Carl Fearns moves to the blindside as Leroy Houston returns at eight. Alafoti Faosiliva starts at openside flanker for the first time this season, in what promises to be a dynamic, ball-carrying back row.
