Watch Leicester Tigers v Northampton Saints for free

See one of club rugby’s biggest games of the season live on free-to-air TV. This Saturday, Aviva Premiership Rugby heavyweights Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints go head to head in the East Midlands Derby at Welford Road, kicking-off at 3pm.

Tigers currently sit fourth in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table, four points above fifth-placed Saints, and are seeking to bounce back from their 26-6 defeat at the hands of Saracens in what will be one of the highlights of the season. Meanwhile Jim Mallinder’s side will fancy their chances of an upset after overturning Exeter Chiefs in a hard-fought 8-3 victory last time out, even though they haven’t won at the home of the biggest rivals for almost nine years.

Leicester Tigers’ seven-game winning run in all tournaments ended with their defeat at Saracens in Aviva Premiership Rugby on Saturday. The Tigers though have a great record at Welford Road having won their last 11 home games in Premiership Rugby since drawing 21-all with Saracens at Welford Road in November 2014.

Northampton Saints three game winless run ended with their 8-3 victory at home to Exeter on New Year’s Day to put them on the verge of a semi-final. The Saints only two victories in their last nine away games in Aviva Premiership Rugby have both been on visits to Bath Rugby, in February and December 2015.

Each club won its respective home game when the two East Midlands rivals clashed in Aviva Premiership Rugby last season whilst Northampton have not been victorious at Welford Road in any competition since a 10-9 win in Premiership Rugby in February 2007.
