Wasps’ 2016/17 pre-season schedule confirmed

Wasps have today confirmed their 2016/17 pre-season schedule, which will see them face Yorkshire Carnegie and Bristol Rugby, as well as taking part in the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s.

Wasps are once again set to kick off their pre-season schedule at the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s. This season’s competition will see them face Bath Rugby, Exeter Chiefs and Bristol Rugby in Group B of the competition at Sandy Park on Saturday 23 July.
 
The top two teams from that group will go on to play in the Series Final at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday 7 August. Wasps 2016/17 Season Members will be able to attend the Final at the Ricoh Arena as part of their package but must register for their tickets which they can do here. The first fifteen-a-side game of the pre-season schedule will see Wasps host Yorkshire Carnegie at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday 21 August, kick off 2.30pm.
 
Carnegie, who finished in third place in the Greene King IPA Championship last season, will visit the Ricoh Arena for the first time in August as Wasps ramp up their preparations ahead of the 2016/17 season.
 
Once again, Wasps 2016/17 Season Members will be able to attend the pre-season game against Yorkshire Carnegie for free as part of their package. The on-sale dates for tickets can be seen below:

Wasps will then round off their warm-up fixtures ahead of the new season with a trip to newly-promoted Bristol Rugby on Saturday 27 August at Clifton RFC. Tickets for that game can be purchased directly through Bristol Rugby online here.
