Te’o and Willison set for debuts at Twickenham

New Warriors signings Ben Te’o and Jackson Willison are set for their Aviva Premiership debuts in Saturday’s clash with Saracens at Twickenham (kick-off 2pm).

The pair, who joined the Club this summer, are named in the starting line-up as Warriors take on the reigning Premiership and European champions in the London Double Header.

Head Coach Carl Hogg also hands a start to Jonny Arr, who is set for his first competitive appearance in eight months after returning from injury.

Ryan Lamb is given the nod at fly-half while Te’o and Wynand Olivier will form the midfield partnership.

Dean Hammond will also make his first competitive start since January with Cooper Vuna on the opposite wing and Willison slotting in at full-back.

In the forwards, Nick Schonert returns to the front row while GJ van Velze skippers the side from the back row.

Academy product Christian Scotland-Williamson is named on the bench and could make his first competitive appearance since September 2014.

Hogg said: “We know the challenges Saracens are going to bring to try and knock us off stride but that’s part and parcel of rugby.

“We’re aware of what they do and the philosophy of their game but it’s very much about how we conduct ourselves.

“They’re a very accurate side and if you make a mistake they’ll turn you over.

“On 2pm this Saturday afternoon it’s about Worcester Warriors and what we are as a group collectively, both in spirit and culturally, and it’s about getting our game on the field.”
