Saracens name team for Harlequins trip

Saracens have named their side for Saturday’s round four Aviva Premiership clash away to Harlequins at The Stoop, kick-off 15h00.

Mike Ellery comes in for the suspended Chris Ashton on the right wing, joining Chris Wyles (left wing) and Alex Goode (full-back) in the Saracens back-three. Sean Maitland is ruled out with a knock, whilst Duncan Taylor remains side-lined with an ankle injury.

The in-form Marcelo Bosch continues to partner Brad Barritt, who captain’s the side. With Owen Farrell still side-lined with a hip injury, Alez Lozowski continues at fly-half and will be joined by Richard Wigglesworth in the halves.

Up front, Schalk Brits continues at hooker, and is joined by Mako Vunipola (loosehead prop) and Petrus Du Plessis (tighthead prop) in the front row. George Kruis misses out with a back injury, so Jim Hamilton continues to partner Maro Itoje at lock. In the back row, Mike Rhodes is named at blindside flanker whilst Jackson Wray takes the place of Schalk Burger, with the South African loose forward rested for the game. Billy Vunipola continues at number eight.

England hooker Jamie George is joined by Richard Barrington and Juan Figallo as the front-row replacements, with Kelly Brown and Scott Spurling the other forwards named on the bench. Ben Spencer is the half-back cover with Nick Tompkins and Matt Gallagher the three-quarter replacements.
