Saracens are Record Breakers

Premiership Rugby can confirm that the new world record attendance for a club rugby match was established at Wembley Stadium today.

An incredible 84,068 fans watched Saracens beat Harlequins in a vital Aviva Premiership Rugby match. The attendance beat the current record of 83,889 set at Wembley last March.
 
Jack Clifford's try inside 30 seconds gave Harlequins the perfect start but Wyles and Ashton both went over for Saracens before the interval as they opened up a 21-8 lead.

Ashton grabbed a second soon after the break, Wyles' late score secured the bonus point and Billy Vunipola scored a fifth to move Sarries back above Exeter Chiefs and into second in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table.
