Saints team news for Quins clash

CLawes-Saints-2602

The Northampton Saints team has been named for Friday night’s Aviva Premiership Round 16 clash with Harlequins.

There is just the one change to the starting line-up from that which beat Bath in Round 15, with Courtney Lawes returning to the team for the first time since December’s home game against Leicester.

It is a week of landmarks for the lock forward. Not only did he turn 26 on Monday, but Friday night’s game will be his 150th in black, green and gold. Tom Wood could also be in line for a significant milestone, too, as if the flanker sees action at any point he will become the latest member of the squad to become a club centurion.

Wood’s inclusion is also the only change on the bench.

Tickets for the game have been very popular during the week, and there are fewer than 200 left going into the final 24 hours before Harlequins come to town. Don’t miss out – click here to book online, using Print@Home to save the admin fees and beat the Friday night queues!

Forwards coach Dorian West and Sam Dickinson preview the game in this week’s podcast, which also includes interviews with James Wilson and Kahn Fotuali’i. Stream for FREE onto any device or head to iTunes and search for Northampton Saints.
