Saints ring changes for LV= Cup Leicester trip

The Northampton Saints coaches have made a number of changes to the match day squad that will make the short trip to Leicester tomorrow afternoon.

With both teams leading their respective pools this is set to be another important East Midlands derby, and the team that Phil Dowson leads out at Welford Road will be playing in front of a record crowd for the LV= Cup group stages.

But plenty of the players named have experienced big occasions, including internationals Cam Dolan and Tom Ryder, who make their Saints debuts.

Every other starting player has run out for the first team this season, and with 17 of the match day 23 having come through the club's Academy system the squad reflects the LV= Cup's ethos of giving opportunities to young players to shine.
