Referee appointments: O’Grady and Foley in action

Matthew O’Grady will make his Aviva Premiership Rugby debut on Saturday after being named as referee for Exeter Chiefs’ home clash with Worcester Warriors.

O’Grady was involved in the U20 World Cup last summer, but will now make the step up at Sandy Park – where victory could help the Chiefs climb back into the top four.

Andrew Jackson will make just his second Aviva Premiership Rugby appearance as he takes charge under the Friday Night Lights at Franklin’s Gardens as Northampton Saints host Newcastle Falcons.

Jackson made his debut last week as defending champions Saracens beat Sale Sharks to move back to the top of the Aviva Premiership Rugby table.

There is plenty of experience this weekend too, as veteran official Tim Wigglesworth takes charge of Bristol Rugby v Leicester Tigers on Friday night, while Dean Richards will be at The Stoop for Harlequins against Bath Rugby.

Elsewhere, Greg McDonald takes control of the whistle at Allianz Park as Saracens host Gloucester Rugby, while Thomas Foley is the man in the middle for Wasps against Sale Sharks.
