Premiership Rugby clubs in live TV action this weekend

BT-Camera-2602

It’s the European semi-final stage, four clubs will be flying the flag for Premiership Rugby – Harlequins, Leicester Tigers, Saracens and Wasps – and all of the games will be live on TV.

The action kicks off on Friday night with Harlequins hosting Grenoble live on BT Sport at 7.45pm.

Harlequins have won the Challenge Cup three times and if they add a fourth trophy to their cabinet will automatically qualify for the European Rugby Champions Cup next season.

Harlequins are the leading points and try scorers in this season's competition, with 263 points and 36 tries in seven games.
There are three Premiership Rugby teams in the top flight European semi-finals for the first time since 2007.

Saracens face Wasps in the first European Rugby Champions Cup semi-final which will be live on Sky Sports at 3pm on Saturday from the Madejski Stadium.

This will be the first time the clubs have met in Europe. Saracens have won one of four previous Champions Cup semi-finals, beating ASM Clermont Auvergne 46-6 in 2014, the biggest margin of victory in a tournament semi-final.

Wasps are making their third semi-final appearance in European rugby’s top flight; they have won both previous matches at this stage and went on to lift the trophy on both occasions in 2004 and 2007.

Leicester Tigers host Racing 92 on Sunday for the first time in European competition. The game will be live on BT Sport at 3.15pm from the City Ground. Leicester have won five of their previous six tournament semi-final games; their last victory against Cardiff Blues in 2009, while this will be Racing 92's first appearance in a European semi-final.

Leicester Tigers have scored the most tries (30) in this season’s competition. Racing 92 have conceded the least tries (7).
