Premiership Rugby clubs in European Finals action, live on TV

BTSport-1205

It’s a momentous weekend for Saracens and Harlequins as both are vying for European titles. The two Finals are live on TV, on both BT Sport and Sky Sports, from the Grande Stade de Lyon.

On Saturday, Saracens play Racing 92 in their quest to win the European Rugby Champions Cup. The game is live on BT Sport and Sky Sports at 4.45pm UK time.

With four of the previous five matches between the sides being won by fewer than 10 points, and 14 of the previous 20 European finals having been won by seven points or less, this is going to be a close game.

Saracens have been in the final once before in 2014 when they were beaten 23-6 by RC Toulon, while this will be Racing 92's first European final.

Saracens boast this season’s best attack in the competition averaging 34.1 points per game. Racing will be matching them with the competition’s best defence after conceding the fewest points to get here (12.8).

The night before, on Friday, Harlequins will face Montpellier for the European Rugby Challenge Cup title and the final spot in next season’s European Rugby Champions Cup competition.

BT Sport and Sky Sports will be showing the game live at 8pm.

Harlequins and Montpellier have met five times in the Challenge Cup with Harlequins winning three times.
More than a total of 50 points have been scored in the last four games between Harlequins and Montpellier, with an average of 60.

Harlequins are unbeaten in Challenge Cup Finals and have won all three. They have competed, each time against Top 14 sides.

This will be the seventh Anglo-French Challenge Cup Final and Premiership Rugby clubs have been crowned champions after winning five of the previous six.
