Northampton Saints team news for Wasps clash

LBurrell-Saints-2801

The Northampton Saints team has been named for Friday night’s Aviva Premiership Round 10 game against Wasps.

Domestic action returns to Franklin’s Gardens in a big clash between two Midlands rivals who are looking to build on the momentum which has taken them into the European Rugby Champions Cup quarter finals.

Separated by just two points in the Aviva Premiership table, there is all to play for in the chase for the top four!
In all there are seven changes to the Saints’ starting line-up from that which earned a bonus point win at Parc y Scarlets last Saturday, with Luther Burrell and Tom Collins returning to the back line and Mikey Haywood, Kieran Brookes, Michael Paterson, Victor Matfield and Teimana Harrison coming into the pack.

There is also the possibility of seeing James Wilson in action, the back included among the replacements for the first time since last May’s Aviva Premiership semi-final.

Tickets remain available for the game at www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/buytickets, with groups available in several areas of the stadium. Seat selection is available whether bookings are made on a computer, tablet or smartphone, and by using Print@Home supporters can save themselves the admin fees and beat the match day queues!

This is also the last weekend of the Saints Superstore’s January sale, with supporters able to save 20 percent on their Burrda Sport training wear! Order at shop.northamptonsaints.co.uk and use Click and Collect to pick up their purchases before tomorrow’s game!

Tom Wood, Tom Collins and Dorian West all preview the action in this week’s podcast, which also includes interviews with Dylan Hartley and Courtney Lawes from inside the England camp. Stream for free at www.soundcloud.com/official-saints-rugby or subscribe on iTunes.
