Northampton Saints team announced for Wasps visit

The Northampton Saints team has been announced for the Aviva Premiership Round 4 home clash with Wasps.

Ken Pisi becomes the latest member of the current squad to reach the landmark milestone of 100 first team appearances, while at the other end of the spectrum Nic Groom comes into the starting 15 for the first time this season.

The team will be wearing yellow armbands to highlight Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and as well as joining them in this supporters can help a local charity by donating to Niamh’s Next Step, who will be bucket shaking at Franklin’s Gardens before kick off.

Tickets remain available for Saturday’s game, with groups able to book in the following blocks:

Tetley’s Stand – Blocks 6, 8
Elite Insurance Stand – Blocks 10 Lower, 11 Lower, 13 Lower, 14 Lower
Church’s Stand – Blocks 15, 23, 24
Barwell Stand – Blocks 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

Book online by heading to www.tinyurl.com/SAI-WAS-1617 and using Print@Home to beat the match day queues and save the admin fees!

Supporters are also reminded to plan their journeys to Franklin’s Gardens tomorrow, allowing additional time to take into consideration the clash with Northampton Town’s game, which also kicks off at 3pm. CLICK HERE for more details about car parking and public transport.

There are more food and drink options available than ever before at the Gardens this Saturday, with a special area open between the Tetley’s and Barwell Stands during half-time for the first time. CLICK HERE for more information.
Alan Dickens previews the game in this week’s The Saints TV Show, available now on the club’s official YouTube channel. And there is a fuller interview with the defence coach about how he made the transition from playing into coaching in this week’s podcast, which can be streamed on either SoundCloud or iTunes.
