Newcastle Falcons to face Edinburgh friendly

Newcastle Falcons’ final pre-season friendly will see them travelling to Pro 12 side Edinburgh on Friday August 26.

The match will be played at BT Murrayfield with a 7.30pm kick-off, tickets priced from £12 for adults, £8 for senior citizens and £5 for under-18s. To book for this game please call Edinburgh Rugby's ticket hotline on 0844 335 3933.
The match continues a recent tradition of pre-season friendlies between the two clubs, who last met in Hawick two years ago.
Newcastle Falcons' director of rugby Dean Richards said: "Edinburgh are a quality outfit and will offer us the kind of test we need a week before we begin the new Aviva Premiership season at home to Sale Sharks on September 2.
"Although this is an away fixture the distance between the two cities should allow a good number of our fans to travel up and watch what have always been keenly-contested games."
Newcastle Falcons host the Singha Premiership 7s at Kingston Park Stadium on Saturday July 30, Worcester Warriors, Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks their opponents in the regional qualifier. Adult and concession tickets for the 7s are priced £20 for premium seating, £10 for standard seating and £5 for under-16s. To book call 0871 226 6060.
The first 15-a-side action of the summer comes on Saturday August 6 when Newcastle meet Greene King IPA Championship side Nottingham at Darlington Mowden Park's Northern Echo Arena. Tickets for the 3pm kick off are available priced £10 for adults and £5 for juniors by calling 0871 226 6060, or from Darlington Mowden Park in advance and on the day. This game is not included in the Falcons' 2016-17 season ticket membership package.
Championship finalists Doncaster Knights then visit Kingston Park on Saturday August 13 in a 3pm kick-off. This game is included in the Falcons' season ticket membership package. Non-season ticket members can book adult and concession tickets for £20 premium seating, £10 standard seating and £5 for under-16s. To book call 0871 226 6060.
The Falcons Development Team will then head to the Scottish Borders to take on Gala RFC in Galashiels on Friday August 19 (kick-off 7.30pm). Tickets are priced £10 adults, £5 concessions and free for children, and are available from Netherdale stadium on the night.
