Match Officials for Aviva Premiership Rugby Round 17

The experienced Wayne Barnes will take charge of the crunch Sunday afternoon clash between Worcester Warriors and Bristol Rugby at the bottom of the Aviva Premiership Rugby table.

Bristol trail the Warriors by just two points after their victory over Bath Rugby last weekend so a win for the visitors will move them 11th place.

The weekend’s action starts however at Welford Road where Matthew Carley will be in charge as Leicester Tigers look to move back into the top four with a win against Exeter Chiefs.

Also on Friday night, Northampton Saints travel up to the AJ Bell Stadium to face Sale Sharks with their encounter being Tom Foley’s 32nd time at the helm of an Aviva Premiership Rugby fixture.

Saturday sees league leaders Wasps travel to Bath, in a crucial game for the hosts’ top four ambitions, where JP Doyle, who has refereed over 100 games at this level, will have the whistle.

And a fellow referee with a century of Aviva Premiership Rugby games to his name, Greg Garner, will be on duty when Harlequins travel to Gloucester Rugby for the second Saturday 3pm kick-off.

Finally, Craig Maxwell-Keys will be the referee at Kingston Park as Newcastle Falcons welcome Saracens up to the north east on Sunday in the 2pm kick-off.
