Leicester Tigers announce squad for Glasgow trip

Matt Toomua is set to make his Leicester Tigers debut when they take on Glasgow Warriors in their European Champions Cup opener on Friday night.

The Australian international starts at inside centre for the Tigers for their trip to Scotstoun as they kick-off their 20th season in Europe’s elite club competition.

Tom Brady makes his first European appearance after crossing in the Tigers victory over Worcester Warriors last weekend with Ed Slater and Freddie Burns fit enough to make the replacements.

Mike Williams, who is ruled out with a broken his arm, is replaced by Mike Fitzgerald, Brendon O’Connor and Lachlan McCaffrey complete the back row.
