Ken Pisi looking for big support for tough Saracens game

Ken Pisi says that the Saints will need a big support getting behind them in Milton Keynes for what will be a "tough game" against Saracens in April.

The 2014 Aviva Premiership finalists go head-to-head at stadiummk on April 25th in a clash that could be decisive in establishing the league’s top four teams ahead of this season’s semi-finals.

Saints have had some big matches against Saracens in the past few years, including a number of Aviva Premiership and LV= Cup semi-finals, as well as last year’s final, which was the first in Aviva Premiership history to go into extra time.

And with thousands and thousands of Saints supporters turning the 2012 ‘away’ game into a home atmosphere at stadiummk, Pisi can’t wait to experience the venue when it is a Saints home game.

"It’s going to be a tough game; it’s always tough against Saracens," he says. "It was an awesome experience to play there last time, and while it was their home game last time it’s our home game this time and hopefully there will be heaps of supporters there getting behind us."

And Pisi summed up the boost that having a huge home crowd behind the team gives the players, adding: "It means a lot.

"You know that everyone’s there supporting you and it gives you that edge over the opponents that we can push on further.

"It’s a fast pitch and the atmosphere will be awesome, and hopefully the weather will be good in April, too!"

The match on April 25th will also form part of England Rugby 2015’s testing programme, allowing the organisers to test elements of match day delivery at Stadium MK ahead of hosting three Rugby World Cup 2015 matches: France v Canada on Thursday, October 1st; Samoa v Japan on Saturday, October 3rd; and Fiji v Uruguay on Tuesday, October 6th.

Tickets for the Aviva Premiership clash between the Saints and Saracens are now on general sale through Ticketmaster. Click here and follow the straightforward instructions to book online 24/7.

Hospitality packages are also available for supporters who want to make a special day of it at stadiumMK, including a four-course meal, unique insight from Saints players before and after the match, complimentary house wine, draught beer and soft drinks, and post-match refreshments.
