Jamie Stevenson to re-join London Scottish next season

Wasps can confirm that scrum half Jamie Stevenson will return to London Scottish next season.

The 23-year-old joined Wasps at the beginning of the season and has made six appearances for the club so far, including a try in Wasps’ recent win over Northampton Saints at the Ricoh Arena.

The Scotland-A scrum half will return to the club he first signed for in 2011. His form in London Scottish’s 2014/15 campaign saw him secure the Players' Player of the Year, before signing for Wasps.

Wasps’ Director of Rugby, Dai Young, said: "Jamie has done really well for us when he’s had his chances this season. He is understandably keen to get more game-time to continue developing as a player and I’m sure he will enjoy that opportunity when he returns to London Scottish. He is a great lad and we will wish him the very best next season."

Jamie Stevenson added: "I've learnt so much from the past year and would like to thank Wasps for what has been an unbelievable opportunity. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to an exciting finish to the season in the Aviva Premiership and Europe.

"I am also excited about heading back to the Athletic Ground next season to re-join Scottish. I spoke with Sean Lineen and the club have big ambitions going forward and I look forward to playing my part in those plans."
