Harlequins extends debut 5.5% mini-bond offer

Harlequins has today announced that, due to demand, it will extend the offer period of its debut mini-bond, paying 5.5% gross interest per annum for five years, for an additional two weeks until Tuesday 31st May 2016.

The Club will announce its programme of events for the celebration of its 150th anniversary this week, some of which will be available on an exclusive basis to members of The Quarters Club.

Since launching the mini-bond Harlequins has confirmed its new coaching structure, with John Kingston appointed as Director of Rugby, Mark Mapletoft confirmed as Head Coach, British and Irish Lions series winning Coach Graham Rowntree as Forwards Coach, Number 8 Nick Easter taking charge of defence, and Collin Osborne continuing as Skills Coach.

The Club also confirmed the signing of Scottish international fly-half Ruaridh Jackson from Wasps and a number of new Academy intakes.

David Ellis, Harlequins Chief Executive, said: “I am pleased to announce the extension of our mini-bond offering and I would like to thank everybody who has invested so far. As we enter the off season, the next couple of weeks will allow us to focus our energies on our playing department and the rest of the Club.”

Harlequin FC Bonds in respect of applications received prior to the original Closing Date of Monday 16th May 2016 will be issued in accordance with the timetable set out in the Invitation Document and will not be delayed or otherwise affected by the extension of the application period.
