Derby days live on BT Sport in the Anglo-Welsh Cup

PREMIERSHIP RUGBY can confirm two of the biggest club rivalries in world rugby have been chosen as live TV matches by BT Sport in the next round of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

The draw has pitted Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby in round three and if that wasn’t enough to set the pulses racing it is followed on the same weekend by Leicester Tigers against Northampton Saints.

BT Sport will broadcast from the Recreation Ground on Friday 27 January (7.45pm kick-off), followed the next day by a live 3pm kick-off for the East Midlands derby at Welford Road, continuing BT Sport’s commitment to double the live coverage of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

The pools are currently led by the Saints, Ospreys, Harlequins and Tigers.

In round four, which will decide the semi-final line-up, BT Sport has again picked two standout matches, first on Friday 3 February (7.45pm kick-off) when Scarlets travel to Northampton Saints, followed on Sunday 5 February (4pm kick-off) with Saracens hosting Leicester Tigers.
