Day remains with Bath Rugby

Second row Dominic Day has renewed his contract with Bath Rugby, the Club can confirm.

Day joined the West Country outfit from Scarlets in 2012, and is now approaching his 80th appearance in the Blue, Black and White. He has played a crucial role in Bath's dominant pack this season, impressing the coaches with his tenacious workrate.

Bath Rugby Head Coach Mike Ford said: "We're really pleased Dom is staying on with us. His skillset is very high and he has an excellent work ethic. We're excited that he can get even better, which is what we're all striving for as an organisation."

"The level of support we have here in the city is unbelievable, which makes staying so easy," says Day, who starred in Sunday's stunning victory in Toulouse. "I feel at home in Bath. It's an exciting time for the Club, and we're a really close team that want to keep progressing and improving, which results this season have shown."
