The qualifiers for the Challenge Cup quarter-finals and their rankings are as follows. The quarter-finals matches to be played on the weekend of 2/3/4/5 April are as follows:

3 Newport Gwent Dragons (winner Pool 3)
4 London Irish (winner Pool 1)
5 Edinburgh Rugby (winner Pool 4)
6 Cardiff Blues (best pool runner-up)
7 Newcastle Falcons (second best pool runner-up)
8 Connacht Rugby (third best pool runner-up)
 
(1) Gloucester Rugby v Connacht Rugby (8)
(2) Exeter Chiefs v Newcastle Falcons (7)
(3) Newport Gwent Dragons v Cardiff Blues (6)
(4) London Irish v Edinburgh Rugby (5)

The draw for the tournament semi-finals was made today at Stade Marcel-Michelin in Clermont-Ferrand.
 
The winner of the first named quarter-final in each semi-final pairing will have home stadium advantage.
 
Semi-final 1: Gloucester Rugby or Connacht Rugby v Exeter Chiefs or Newcastle Falcons
Semi-final 2: London Irish or Edinburgh Rugby v Newport Gwent Dragons or Cardiff Blues
