BT Sport and ITV Sport coverage of Aviva Premiership Rugby

Aviva Premiership Rugby Round 17 takes centre stage this weekend as the battle for top four spots heats up at Welford Road with Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs live on BT Sport 1 & BT Sport 4k UHD on Friday night.

It is a 7.45pm kick-off in Leicester, with the programme starting at 7pm, as two sides in red-hot form push their chances for a spot in the Aviva Premiership Rugby semi-finals.

Aaron Mauger’s side have won their last three Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters, with big bonus-point wins over Gloucester Rugby and Bristol Rugby at home and a thrilling comeback 27-18 win against Harlequins last Friday.

Chiefs played out a remarkable game with Newcastle Falcons in Round 16, running out 36-14 winners in arguably the season’s most expansive game.

On Saturday, fourth plays first as Bath Rugby look to avenge their 40-26 loss at the Ricoh in front of their faithful fans at the Rec, which you can see on BT Sport 2 & BT Sport 4k UHD from 2.30pm, with a 3pm kick-off.

Both sides are stacked full of attacking firepower – any game including Semesa Rokoduguni, Ben Tapuai, Christian Wade and Kurtley Beale is near-enough guaranteed fireworks.

And with Bristol Rugby turning Bath over at Ashton Gate in Round 16 and Wasps looking to press their advantage at the Aviva Premiership summit, neither outfit will be short of motivation.

As if that wasn’t enough, on Sunday there is what could be the most highly-charged game of the year as 11th-place Worcester Warriors take on 12th-place Bristol at Sixways with just two points separating them.

Gavin Henson was the star of the show with 12 points against Bath, while Worcester have been bolstered by the return of Francois Hougaard and both sides have relatively new faces on the coaching staff.

Director of rugby Gary Gold has already overseen a win over Saracens in his time with Worcester and Bristol coaching consultant Alan Solomons landed his own scalp against Bath, watch all the build-up from 2.30 pm on BT Sport 1  and BT Sport 4K UHD.
