Bath Rugby surpass 40,000 ticket sales for The Clash

Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby is thrilled to confirm that over 40,000 tickets have been sold for The Clash, when they will take on age-old rivals Leicester Tigers at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 8th April.

As a result of the overwhelming interest for this fantastic day out that has a tantalising game of rugby at it’s heart, tickets in the West Stand Middle Tier are now on sale, giving people the chance to enjoy a superb view of the action – including from the half-way line.

It will be a landmark occasion for the Club, as it stages a home game away from the Recreation Ground for the very first time.

With tickets available from just £5 for juniors and £15 for adults, it promises to be an epic, affordable day out and one to remember for all the family.

Outside the ground, Bath Rugby is creating a multi-zone supporter experience to be called The Forum. Free entertainment will be taking place from 11:00, featuring live music, motorcycle stunt display team On The Edge, fairground rides and a wide variety of food and drink.

Taking the best from the West Country to London for the day, the Swift Half, a well-known ‘Bath local’ from the Recreation Ground, will also be making its way to the home of English rugby. Post-match, Somerset legends The Wurzels will be performing their classic hits live on stage in The Forum. There will also be the opportunity to meet Bath players past and present throughout the day.

On the pitch, BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James will make a guest appearance before the teams kick-off in one of the most-anticipated matches of the rugby calendar.
