Aviva Premiership Rugby on BT Sport and ITV Sport this weekend

Bt Sport presenters

Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs kick-off another action-packed weekend of Aviva Premiership Rugby on BT Sport and ITV.

Sharks take on Chiefs in Friday night’s live TV encounter as the league enters its 10th round of fixtures.

Fifth-placed Exeter will be hoping to continue their momentum on the back of their thumping 57-22 win over Worcester Warriors on Saturday, while Sale will be looking to bounce back from a spirited 34-24 defeat against high-flying Wasps.

Victory would give Rob Baxter’s Exeter side three league wins in a row for the first time this season.

All the build-up and action will be on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K UHD from 7pm, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

The East Midlands derby between Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints is Saturday’s televised clash, which is live on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport 4K UHD.

Tigers saw off Bristol Rugby 21-16 on the road last time around, following on from sinking Harlequins the week before.

Saints, meanwhile, face a tough task after losing to Newcastle Falcons last time around but when it comes to the derby form goes out the window. Coverage of the game will start from 4.30pm, with kick-off at 5pm.

Wasps will be hoping to keep pace with Saracens at the top of the league as they face a trip to Worcester Warriors on Sunday.

Dai Young’s side have only lost twice all season, to Gloucester Rugby and Saracens, and are four points behind the leaders.

Worcester have not won since 4 November, a 31-25 victory over Bristol. And they were on the wrong end of a 62-10 defeat in the last meeting of the sides, in the Anglo-Welsh Cup at the Ricoh Arena on 13 November.

Coverage of Sunday’s clash, on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K UHD begins at 2.30pm, with kick-off at 3pm.

Elsewhere in the league, Bath Rugby face Saracens and Gloucester Rugby host Bristol Rugby on Saturday, while Sunday’s other match sees Newcastle Falcons take on Harlequins.

If you miss out on any of the weekend’s live action, BT Sport and ITV will once again be showing highlights throughout the weekend.

Aviva Premiership Rugby Fixtures
