Aviva Premiership Rugby on BT Sport and ITV Sport

Two West Country teams – Gloucester Rugby and Bath Rugby – with a point to prove should provide plenty of fire on Saturday in one of the three live televised games on BT Sport this weekend.

There is never any need for extra motivation when Bath Rugby are in town, but after a home loss to Newcastle Falcons, the Cherry & Whites will be keen to make it up to their fans.

They take on a Bath team who lost for the first time this season last time out, going down to Leicester Tigers. But having made a strong start under Todd Blackadder, Bath know that victory here would keep them in the top four.

Coverage begins at 2.30pm on BT Sport 2, BT Sport Extra (red button) & BT Sport 4k UHD with kick-off at 3pm.

The live TV converge of Aviva Premiership Rugby kicks off on Friday night when Northampton Saints try to put right the frustrations of their loss to Wasps against in-form Exeter Chiefs.

With the coverage kicking off at 7pm on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4k UHD, Saints will be looking to be more clinical than they were against Wasps, where they dominated possession and territory but struggled to turn that into points.

Exeter meanwhile, like to play under the Friday Night Lights after winning on the road a week ago against Bristol Rugby and they’ll be looking for more of the same at Franklin’s Gardens with kick-off at 7.45pm.

On Sunday there is a huge encounter at Sixways where Newcastle Falcons are in town to take on Worcester Warriors.

Tune in from 2.30pm on BT Sport 1 & BT Sport 4k UHD to see if Carl Hogg’s team can pick up a first win of the season after two draws from their first four matches as they take on a Falcons’ team fresh from a victory on the road against Gloucester.

All of these games as well as Bristol Rugby v Saracens, Sale Sharks v Leicester Tigers and Wasps v Harlequins will be dissected in highlights coverage across the weekend.

Catch up with the first two days of action at 9pm on Saturday on BT Sport 1, while Mark Durden-Smith and David Flatman will break down the entire weekend on Sunday at 8pm on ITV4 and again on ITV at 11.15pm.

And don’t fear if you’ve been completely out of the loop over the weekend – there will be a further chance to absorb all of Round 5’s highlights at 12.25am on Tuesday on ITV4.

Your regular mid-week fix of Aviva Premiership Rugby, Rugby Tonight, will feature an elite panel of guests at 8pm on Wednesday on BT Sport 1.
