Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV – Four Rounds to Go

With a mere ten points separating six teams near the top of Aviva Premiership every point could have massive consequences this weekend where BT Sport’s live TV coverage starts at Kingston Park on Friday night.

A fascinating set of matches kick off with Newcastle Falcons hosting Bath Rugby under Friday Night Lights live on BT Sport 1 from 7pm.

Bath go into the match in third, victory taking them over Saracens for at least a few hours, and with history on their side. Bath have in fact won on their last nine visits to Kingston Park since a 17-19 reversal in 2003, and Newcastle's only victory over Bath in their last 19 encounters in all tournaments since 2004 was 27-16 at the Recreation Ground in October 2009.

From Newcastle the live BT Sport TV cameras travel south to Allianz Park for an almighty clash between second-placed Saracens and Leicester Tigers, who are fourth.

Saracens and Leicester could not be separated last November, drawing 21-21, whilst Saracens have not beaten Leicester since a 49-10 scoreline in Aviva Premiership Rugby in December 2013, on the Tigers' only previous visit to Allianz Park.

Saracens record at Allianz Park is exceptional. They have been defeated only once at Allianz Park in the tournament in the past 12 months: 24-31 to Northampton in round eight.

Unusually we have three matches on Sunday in Aviva Premiership Rugby this weekend with the live TV coverage on BT Sport being completed with leaders Northampton Saints traveling to Sandy Park.

Exeter's record at home is impressive. Exeter have lost only once at Sandy Park in any tournaments since September: 25-26 to Gloucester in Premiership Rugby on 3 January. But the Saints are in great form away from home – their Saints only defeat on the road in Premiership Rugby since round 2 came at Sale on 10 January.

The Chiefs beat Saints 24-18 at Franklin's Gardens in round 7 and have never before achieved a season's double over the East Midlanders.
