Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

The 2015-16 Aviva Premiership Rugby season roars into action on Friday night and there are two cracking games live on BT Sport.

Worcester Warriors welcome last season’s table toppers, Northampton Saints, to Sixways for their return to Aviva Premiership Rugby.  The game kicks off at 7.45pm, but will be live on BT Sport 1 from 7pm on Friday and also free for everyone to view on BT Sport Showcase at the same time.

BT Sport's Showcase channel is available on Freeview on channel 59. UK viewers can also watch the game online at www.btsport.com, Sky and Virgin Media.

The Bath Rugby v Exeter Chiefs west country derby is the second and final live match of the weekend. The 2pm kick off is live on BT Sport 2 from 1.15pm. The match is also available on the red button for BT Sport lite subscribers.

Both sides have great first match of the season records. Bath Rugby have only lost once on the opening weekend since 2006, their 5-24 defeat at Gloucester Rugby in 2009.  Exeter Chiefs have only been defeated once in round one since being promoted to Aviva Premiership Rugby in 2010 (Northampton Saints 38 – 11 Exeter Chiefs in 2013).
