Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

After a compelling first outing for the Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs last week, the second round kicks off with Friday Night Lights at Kingsholm when reigning champions, Saracens, will be playing Gloucester Rugby live on BT Sport 1 from 7pm.

Both Gloucester and Saracens started the season in winning form.  Gloucester Rugby are unbeaten at Kingsholm in their last five Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters since Wasps beat them there on 28 December. Saracens have won their opening two fixtures every season since 2011-12.

Each side won its respective home game when the two clubs met last season.

In the second live match of the weekend, Leicester Tigers will welcome Harlequins on Sunday with coverage live on BT Sport 2 from 1pm.

Leicester Tigers have lost just one of their last 18 Aviva Premiership Rugby home games at Welford Road: 19 – 22 to London Irish in September 2014.

Harlequins beat Wasps 26 – 21 on Friday evening but have not begun a season with a pair of victories in the first two rounds since 2012-13.

Tigers have only won two of their last nine matches against Harlequins in all tournaments – both in Aviva Premiership Rugby at Welford Road; the semi-final in 2013 and on 10 October 2014 last season.
