Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

There’s a compelling weekend of Aviva Premiership Rugby in store on BT Sport with four games live on TV.

Friday Night Lights at The Stoop for Harlequins v Sale Sharks kicks off the action with coverage from 7pm on BT Sport 1.

Harlequins have won two of their three matches so far in Aviva Premiership Rugby and are in fourth spot in the table.

Sale Sharks have won their last two Aviva Premiership Rugby matches, at home to Worcester Warriors and Northampton Saints, but away from home have only won once in the competition since November: 52 – 12 at London Welsh in February.

Saturday's double header on BT Sport 1 starts at 3pm with a repeat of last season's Aviva Premiership Rugby semi-final when Northampton Saints host Saracens.  This game kicks-off at 3.15pm and is also available free on BT Showcase, Freeview channel 59.

Northampton Saints have only lost one of their last 12 regular season Aviva Premiership Rugby matches at Franklin's Gardens: 18 – 24 to Exeter Chiefs on 14 November 2014.

Saracens have won their last six Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters since Exeter beat them at Allianz Park on 10 May.

The second game of the day sees Exeter Chiefs go head-to-head with Leicester Tigers.

Exeter Chiefs have won their last two Aviva Premiership Rugby matches scoring six tries in each and conceding just one try in total. Chiefs have been beaten just once at Sandy Park in the tournament since round 2 last season: 26 – 25 by Gloucester on 3 January.

Leicester Tigers have made their best start to an Aviva Premiership Rugby season since they also won their three opening fixtures in 2008-09. Tigers have lost just one regular season away game in the tournament since January: 6 – 22 at Saracens in April.

Wasps v Gloucester Rugby rounds off the weekend on Sunday with coverage from 2.15pm on BT Sport 1.

Wasps have won one of their last five Aviva Premiership Rugby matches: 16 – 9 over Bath Rugby at the Ricoh Arena on 24 October.

Gloucester's only defeat in Aviva Premiership Rugby so far this season came when they entertained table-topping Saracens in round 2.

Wasps have won their last five Aviva Premiership Rugby fixtures against Gloucester since the Cherry & Whites were victorious 29 – 22 at Kingsholm in September 2012.
