Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

BTSport-0312

With four games, eight teams are live on BT Sport 1 this weekend.

The action starts with Friday Night Lights at Kingsholm for Gloucester Rugby v Sale Sharks live on BT Sport 1 from 7pm.

Gloucester Rugby and Sale Sharks both have two Aviva Premiership Rugby wins to their credit so far this season. Each side won its respective home game when the two teams clashed last season.

Saturday's double header starts on BT Sport 1 at 3pm with Bath Rugby v Northampton Saints kicking off the action at 3.15pm.

Bath Rugby have won one of their last four Aviva Premiership Rugby fixtures: 45-14 at London Irish in round 4. Bath were defeated in their most recent Aviva Premiership Rugby home game by Harlequins in round 3 but have not lost back-to-back games in the league at the Recreation Ground since March 2014.

Northampton Saints have not won away from home in the competition since they visited Bath on 21 February and are unbeaten in their last eight Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters with Bath since Bath won 38-8 at the Rec in February 2011.

Wasps v Exeter Chiefs is the second encounter on Saturday with kick-off at 5.30pm.

Wasps have won all three matches they have played in all tournaments this season at the Ricoh Arena, and have yet to concede a try there.

Exeter Chiefs solitary defeat in Aviva Premiership Rugby this season came on a visit to Bath Rugby on the opening weekend.

The last four encounters between the two clubs have all been won by the home team.

Newcastle Falcons v Saracens rounds off the weekend with coverage from 2pm on Sunday on BT Sport 1.

Newcastle Falcons recorded their first two league points of the new Aviva Premiership Rugby season with a 15-all draw at Sale Sharks last Saturday after winning one of their last 14 Aviva Premiership Rugby fixtures: 37-21 at home to Harlequins on 16 May.

Saracens top the Aviva Premiership Rugby table with a perfect played five, won five record. The defending champions have won their last 10 matches in all competitions since Exeter Chiefs beat them at Allianz Park in May.
