Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

Aviva Premiership Rugby is back this weekend – after a four-week break – with some compelling clashes in Round 14, and live TV games on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.

Friday night sees Leicester Tigers entertain Gloucester Rugby live on BT Sport 2 with coverage from 7pm.

Leicester Tigers are unbeaten at Welford Road in competitive rugby since London Irish beat them there 22-19 in Aviva Premiership Rugby on 27 September.

Gloucester Rugby have won all six of their encounters played in 2015 in all competitions since their 23-30 home defeat to Wasps in Aviva Premiership Rugby on 28 December. The Cherry & Whites have not lost away from home since they visited Newcastle on 21 November.

 Sunday’s live TV action sees second against third as Bath Rugby visit Saracens with coverage from noon on BT Sport 2.

Saracens 23-24 defeat at Gloucester in the last round of Aviva Premiership Rugby ended a four game winning streak but their only defeat at Allianz Park in a competitive match in the last 12 months came when Northampton Saints were the visitors in Round 8 of the 2014-15 Aviva Premiership Rugby Season.

Bath Rugby have lost just once in the competition since Round 6 this season: 8-17 at Leicester Tigers on 4 January, this is Bath’s only reversal away from home in any competition since early November. Bath defeated Saracens 21-11 at The Rec in Round 5, but have not achieved a Premiership Rugby season double over the Londoners since 2003/04.
