Aviva launches Guinness World Records attempt at Aviva Premiership Rugby Final

To celebrate a successful season for Aviva Tackling Numbers, the innovative school maths programme delivered by Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs, Aviva will attempt to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title!

Aviva, proud title sponsors of Aviva Premiership Rugby, are hoping to set the record for the Longest human representation of a mathematical equation in the build-up to the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on Saturday 30 May. The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt will take place on the Twickenham pitch before kick-off, with over 300 children from schools across the country taking part in the equation.

The children will form a long line on the famous hallowed turf of Twickenham and each hold a card with a number on it to form one giant, long maths equation. An adjudicator from Guinness World Records will be present to confirm whether or not a new record has been set. If successful, Aviva will be presented with a certificate on the pitch at half-time.

Aviva Tackling Numbers is an innovative and engaging programme for Key Stage 2 children. Delivered by the 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby Clubs across England and also available online, this rugby themed programme integrates interactive classroom maths with practical, number-based rugby games.
