Will Rowlands is handed a first team contract having previously been part of the London Wasps Academy. Buster Lawrence, Thomas Young and Alex Lozowski will all join the Club from Moseley, Gloucester Rugby and Leeds Carnegie, respectively.
Rowlands will graduate from the London Wasps Academy having previously been a part-time member, while also studying for an Economics and Management degree at Oxford University. The 22-year-old second row made his London Wasps debut in last season's LV=Cup match against Leicester Tigers. A product of the close link between London Wasps and Oxford University, Rowlands will join an experienced group of locks at the Club next year.
Buster Lawrence, who is equally at home in the back row and second row, has impressed with his physical performances for Moseley in the Championship after being named Supporters' Player of the Year last season. The 22-year-old will join a weighty pool of players in both the back and second row, with recent signings adding to an already formidable group.
Thomas Young, the son of Director of Rugby Dai, will join the Club from Gloucester, having come through the academy system at Cardiff Blues. The 21-year-old openside flanker has been a regular in the Welsh age grade set up, playing at U16, U18 and U20 levels, including the Junior World Championship in 2011, and will join a very competitive back row grouping at the Club.
Alex Lozowski, the son of former Wasp and England centre Rob, made his debut for Leeds Carnegie last season against Pontypridd in the British and Irish Cup. The 20-year-old fly half has recently represented England Students and will re-join London Wasps, having been a part of the Academy system before his move to Leeds.
On the news of the four signings, Director of Rugby Dai Young said: "With new funding at the Club, we have been able to announce the signings of some higher profile players in recent months but the development of talented young players is also crucial to our future success. I am hugely excited by the prospects of all four of these players and I am looking forward to overseeing their development over the next few years."
Rowland, Lawrence, Young and Lozowski join a number of high profile signings who have already been announced as joining London Wasps next season. These include Samoa centre/wing Alapati Leiua, Wales lock Bradley Davies, Italy prop Lorenzo Cittadini, Scotland fly-half Ruaridh Jackson, Worcester Warriors hooker Ed Shervington, England Saxons back-row James Gaskell and Saxons full-back Rob Miller.
